1. Scope of Engagement
These Terms of Service govern all digital publishing production, ghostwriting, editorial formatting, book cover creative design, and Amazon PPC advisory services provided by Pen2Digital ("Pen2Digital", "Agency", or "Syed Waqas Hashmi") to clients ("Client", "Author", or "Publishing Partner"). By scheduling a strategy call, ordering a publishing package, or signing a statement of work, you accept these terms in full.
2. Guaranteed 100% Royalty & Intellectual Property Rights
Pen2Digital is NOT a vanity press and does NOT claim any backend royalties:
- Full Copyright Retention: All intellectual property, story concepts, trade secrets, character names, and manuscripts produced or formatted remain the 100% exclusive property of the Client.
- Zero Royalty Deductions: 100% of all gross and net royalties disbursed by Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Audible, or Etsy belong exclusively to the Client and are deposited directly into the Client's bank account.
- Account Autonomy: Titles are deployed directly on the Client's Amazon KDP account, giving you permanent administrative custody over your catalog.
3. Deliverables & Production Timeline
Deliverables are defined in the specific package selected (Starter 1-Book, Growth 2-Books, or Empire 3+1 Bundle) and outlined in the formal Statement of Work. Typical milestones include:
- Milestone 1: Data-driven niche selection, keyword profitability research, and chapter outline approval.
- Milestone 2: Manuscript writing/formatting, copy editing, and custom cover illustration proofing.
- Milestone 3: Final Amazon KDP metadata configuration, category classification, pricing strategy, and launch PPC deployment.
4. Revisions & Quality Assurance
We are dedicated to excellence. Each publishing stage includes structured review rounds. Clients are entitled to up to three (3) comprehensive revision rounds on cover designs and interior layouts prior to final publishing deployment to ensure total satisfaction.
5. Client Responsibilities & KDP Compliance
Clients agree to supply accurate account details and timely feedback on submitted drafts. All books created by Pen2Digital strictly conform to Amazon KDP Community Content Guidelines, copyright laws, and trademark restrictions. Pen2Digital disclaims liability for any actions taken by third-party platforms (including Amazon) resulting from external author actions outside our scope of service.
